LuxConnect regularly renews its various
certifications with recognized institutions
for two main reasons:
Our Data Centers are Uptime Tier IV certified.
An Uptime Tier IV certification means that LuxConnect’s customers benefit from a design and operational environment, skills, mindset and dedication of our staff which are Tier IV branded.
Likewise, client audits are an integral part of our ongoing customer dialogue and we welcome them as an outstanding means of benchmarking our procedures, service levels and routines.
LuxConnect’s customers benefit continuously from that learning curve.
Certifications
ISO 27001 Certification
Since December 2019, LuxConnect has continuously renewed its certification ISO 27001:2013, the international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems.
LuxConnect’s certification, evaluated by Certi-Trust, ensures that the company has established a formal set of policies, procedures, processes and systems that manage information risks to its digital and physical presence.
The ISO 27001 certification demonstrates to customers that LuxConnect has a mature, managed and verifiable approach to information security that encompasses not just risk, but also compliance and governance.
ISO 22301 Certification
In 2024, LuxConnect was certified ISO 22301 for the first time. This certification testifies to our efforts in terms of security and resilience, as well as the processes we have put in place to ensure business continuity management.
HDS Certification
We’re proud to hold HDS (Health Data Hosting) certification, the highest standard for sensitive healthcare data protection.
EU Code of Conduct on Data Centers Efficiency Participant
The EU Code of Conduct on Data Center Energy Efficiency is a voluntary initiative managed by the European Commission’s in-house science service called Joint Research Center. The goal is to inform and stimulate DC operators to reduce energy consumption in a cost-effective manner without impacting the critical function of their infrastructure.
All the participants have the obligation to monitor energy consumption continuously and adopt energy management in order to look for continuous improvement in energy efficiency. LuxConnect regularly renews its “Participant” label for its four Data Centers and have to comply with the latest version of the European Code of Conduct tab, including KPIs such as Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), Carbon Usage Effectiveness (CUE) and Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE). In addition, LuxConnect promotes the Code of Conduct to its customers and has thus also been recognized as an endorser.
100% renewable energy
LuxConnect’s infrastructures are powered exclusively by 100% renewable energy sourced from hydroelectric power plants in Norway and certified by yearly green certificates from Enovos.
INDR CSR Certification
Since 2017, LuxConnect has consistently renewed its CSR label from INDR. Every three years, the company undergoes an audit to renew its certification, and LuxConnect’s commitment continues to grow over time. In fact, we are required to demonstrate continuous improvement in our maturity level from one audit to the next.
Responsibility Europe Label
Responsibility Europe is the leading international brand for SD/CSR labels and certifications. It forms the link between CSR labels and certifications sharing the same DNA with strong ethical and European values. LuxConnect has been certified "Responsibility Europe" for its CSR approach implemented and certified by the "ESR" label.
Luxembourg National Pact Business & Human Rights
By signing the Pacte National "Entreprises et Droits de l’Homme" (EDH) in 2022, LuxConnect reaffirmed the company’s commitment to integrating the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights into its daily operations.
Diversity Charter
LuxConnect has been a signatory of the Lëtzebuerg Diversity Charter since March 2017.
Climate Neutral Data Center
LuxConnect is an official member of the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact, joining over 100 operators across Europe working towards a climate-neutral digital future. By signing the Pact, we commit to improving energy efficiency, conserving water resources and driving circular economy practices.
SuperDrecksKëscht fir Betriber
LuxConnect conforms to this recognized quality label granted to businesses that have adopted an environmentally friendly waste management plan. The label is granted by the Administration de l’Environnement, the Chambre des Métiers and the Chamber of Commerce.
